If preferred a project can consist of both electronics and casing design. Right after the start of the project we will discuss the casing type and the position of connectors. Choosing the casing and connectors is of great importance as it determines both user-friendliness and robustness of the prototype. Blue Melon owns a CNC mill with which standard aluminium or plastic casings can be customized.

Customizing existing casings

In the case of complex housing designs we team up with other companies to develop your design. It is also possible to supply an existing casing. We will design the electronics in such a way that these will fit exactly. Even more it is possible to process the casing to make room for displays, knobs, indicators and connectors.

Front plates

19 inch racks are ideal to spaciously house electronics. Blue Melon can manufacture prototype frontplates in house. This allows quick front plate design from simple sketches. When the drawings have been finalized it is possible to obtain a complete front plate prototype (including printed markings) via an external party.
