Products/Workshop Dublin

From BlueMelon

A BlueSense Workshop was organised on 2 and 3 February in Dublin for people of the DATA group. In cooperation with artist Benjamin Gaulon, we introduced Pure Data and BlueSense to interested artists.

Below you can find a photo impression of the workshop. For more info about our workshops go to this page. If you are interested in a workshop at your location please contact us!

In this workshop we used many BlueSense modules. Participants brought their own electronics to use it in their projects.

Some more experimenting.

Driving a kaleidoscope using a small steppermotor. The steppermotor as well as the belt, casing and other useful e-waste was taken from an old scanner. A webcam was used to show the image from the kaleidoscope on the computer screen.

Building a yaw position control from an recycled scanner and two added servo motors. The yaw control is positioned by Pure Data, which is also reading distance sensors to decide where to position the yaw control.

Preparation for the theater project (see next photo).
