Products/BlueSense Pure Data/Pulse counters
From BlueMelon
The BM7001 Bluesense digital switch inputs module can be used to readout switches, rotary encoders and counters. The patch below shows how you can use a Pulse Counter. It is also possible to combine functions. Eg. have some inputs configured as switches, others as rotaries or counters.
First you need the top area to establish the connection between Pure Data and the BlueSense usb (wireless) router. Set the metronome interval to 2 ms or more and enable the metronome. You must send the update message to detect which modules are connected. The update message will also display which devices have been found. The object in the centra represents the digital input module. The first argument of the module is its identification number. Every BlueSense module has its own identification number which never changes. The id can be found on the module itself, and can also be found by checking the module table of the BlueSenseMaster component.
For each of the twelve inputs a counter can be configured as well. Everytime the level of a connected signal changes, the corresponding counter is increased. A pin is configured as a counter by giving as second argument counter. The third argument determines which counter should be used. As an example "BlueSenseSwitchInput Counter A6" will read out the counter of input A6.
