Products/BlueSense Pure Data/Analog Inputs

From BlueMelon

This patch demonstrates the use of the BM7003 Bluesense analogue inputs module from within Pure Data.

First you need the components in the top area to establish the connection between Pure Data and the BlueSense usb (wireless) router. Set the metronome interval to 2 ms and enable the metronome. Now you can send the update message to the BlueSenseMaster to detect the BlueSense devices.

The area below contains the analog input module. The first argument of the "analog input" module is its identification number. Every BlueSense module has its own identification number which never changes. The id can be found on the module itself, and can also be found by checking the module table of the BlueSenseMaster component. To each module you can send the status. As a response the module will display its status (if its found in the network, etc.).

The "analog input" module has six inputs. In Pure Data these are represented by the six outputs to which the sampled values will be sent. The resolution message can be used to set the resolution of the six ports between one and ten bits. The vref message controls the voltage range in which voltages are measured. . The sampledelay message adjusts the time interval between taken samples. You can set the interval in steps of 1 ms. The shortest sample interval is 1ms (one thousand samples a second). Finally the config message can be used to set vref, sample delay and resolution respectively with one message.
