From BlueMelon
The patch below shows which components are needed to establish a basic connection between the BlueSense Modules and Max MSP(tm).
The metronome, when activated, drives the connection. Each time when the metro ticks data is sent/received from the BlueSense devices. The shorter the metronome interval the more responsive your connection will become. However when you are doing complex video/audio processing on a slow computer it can be helpfull to turn the interval higher, so that the PC's cpu has more time for the video/audio processing. In most cases you will set the metronome interval to 2 ms (which is also the minimum value).
When the metronome has been activated you can double click the BlueSenseMaster component. A text screen will be opened. After some time a table will be shown containing all found routers and BlueSense modules. In the table you will find the module's id, which can be used to identify modules. Furthermore the table contains information on the type and firmware version of your modules.
Once a module has been detected it will not be removed from the table. When you want to clear the table you can send the clear message to the BlueSenseMaster. To refresh the module table you can either dubble
click the BlueSenseMaster component manually or you can send the update message.

An USB router is detected automatically.
Ethernet router
At the moment the "ethip" and "ethid" messages have not been implemented yet, please use the "ip" message instead of the "ethip" message to setup the device.
To connect to an ethernet router the "ethip" message can be sent to the object. The message has 3 arguements.
- IP address of the ethernet router
- Username
- Password
For this message to work you will need the IP address of the BM7504. Another option is to access the ethernet router with its id. You can then use the "ethid" message.
To configure the ethernet router itself please refer to the following information:
