Products/BlueSense Max MSP/AnalogInput
From BlueMelon
This patch shows you how to use the BM7003 Bluesense analogue inputs module from within Max MSP(tm).
First you need the components in the top right area to establish the connection between Max MSP(tm) and the BlueSense usb (wireless) router. Set the metronome interval to 2 ms and enable the metronome. Now you can double click the BlueSenseMaster to see which devices have been found.
The area below contains the analog input module. The first argument of the "analog input" module is its identification number. Every BlueSense module has its own identification number which never changes. The id can be found on the module itself, and can also be found by checking the module table of the BlueSenseMaster component.
The "analog input" module has six inputs. In Max MSP(tm) these are represented by the six outputs to which the sampled values will be sent. The resolution message can be used to set the resolution of the six ports between one and ten bits. The vref message controls the voltage range in which voltages are measured. . The sampledelay message adjusts the time interval between taken samples. You can set the interval in steps of 1 ms. The shortest sample interval is 1ms (one thousand samples a second). Finally the config message can be used to set vref, sample delay and resolution respectively with one message.
