The BlueSense BM7501 acts as the portal between the PC and the BlueSense network. The BM7501 is connected to your PC via USB. The BlueSense sensor and actuator modules are connected with cables (included with the specific modules) to the BM7501 router.
Connecting modules with cables has some advantages with respect to wireless connection (eg. by using BM7502 / BM7503). A cabled connection allows faster data transfer and is more reliable.
